Scents of Adventure – Maldives Blog Competition

Close your eyes and imagine lying on a white sandy beach in the Maldives surrounded by swaying palm trees, warm waves lapping against the shore.

What do you smell? Is it the salty sea air? The scent of freshly hulled coconuts? Or the heady aroma of a spicy curry being cooked, making your mouth water?

We want you to tell us what the islands of the Maldives’ signature scent is – the one aroma that encapsulates the region. Why?

In October we created a special map of the world to hang in our Bluewater shop featuring different scents from across the globe. Brazil’s fragrance was coffee, of course, while the USA was represented by the scent of Apple Pie!

But there’s one region we’ve yet to find a scent for: the Maldives. And we need your help.

We’re asking bloggers and writers all across the UK to tell us what smell should represent the Maldives. Our winner will be sent for the getaway of a lifetime to the Maldives which will include return flights and a 7 night stay in the 5 star Maafushivaru resort.

Paradise could just be a few paragraphs away…

The prize of the competition consists of return economy flights from London (UK) to Male (Maldives) and a 7 night stay at the 5 star Maafushivaru resort on an all inclusive board basis. Maldives transfers are also included.
