The Pajama Game is based in 1950s America and follows the story of the new superintendent at the Sleep-Tite nightwear factory, Sid (Michael Xavier), and feisty committee head, Babe (Joanna Riding), as they fall for each other in tricky circumstances. A wonderful blend of romance and comedy, the musical features classic songs such as Hey There and Steam Heat. First staged on Broadway in 1954, the hit musical opens at the Shaftesbury Theatre in London’s Covent Garden this May.
