The lucky winners will be be flown to Bjorkliden in northern Sweden for a three-night adventure that will include four-star accommodation, expert guiding and a master class in how best to capture the lights on film by Chad Blakley, a renowned aurora photographer.
Nestled on the edge of the Abisko National Park – one of the last true wildernesses in Europe – Bjorkliden is located 120 miles north of the Arctic Circle. It sits within a rain shadow provided by surrounding mountains and away from all artificial light sources and has some of the clearest and darkest skies in skies in the world – perfect conditions for experiencing the northern lights.
