Spring is a great time of year to head north of the border – not least for the stunning scenery, but also for the malt whisky that Scotland is so renowned for.
As the autumn nights draw in, Speyburn Whisky has launched its exciting ‘Great Escape’ competition and is inviting you to enter.
All entrants will be submitted into a national prize draw to win an exhilarating trip for themselves and three friends in Scotland. This long weekend in the great outdoors will combine adventure in the wild with luxurious accommodation at the Ballathie House Hotel.
The prize includes breakfasts and dinners for four. The lucky winners will also enjoy a Speyburn whisky tasting at the hotel and the country pursuit of clay pigeon shooting – the perfect weekend.
Founded in 1897, Speyburn Distillery sits in a glen on the edge of Rothes. It remains much the same as it was more than 100 years ago with many of its original features still used in the whisky making process. Speyburn is the only whisky distillery to use water from the Granty Burn river, which is famed for its purity.
